I am a teacher at Hawkesdale P12 College , a small prep to year 12 College, in country Western Victoria. It is a small rural prep to year 12 school, where students are of a monoculture and class sizes small. Our grade 5 students are part of the netbook program. They are part of a composite grade and the grade 4 element also have netbooks to keep harmony and effectiveness of use in the class. Althought I do not teach technology to this class, I am passionate about introducing the powerful learning outcomes to my students through my ICT classes for years 7-10, my VCE classes from years 11 and 12 and to my VCE Accounting classes.
